Cancellation Policy
Tutoring Session Responsibilities, Cancellation, and Rescheduling Policy Tutors engaged to lead tutoring sessions are expected to prepare thoroughly for the content they agree to deliver, arrive on time for scheduled sessions, and provide a high-quality instructional experience consistent with TutoringEZ standards of service. Tutors are responsible for communicating any anticipated challenges related to session content, preparation, or scheduling as early as possible to allow for appropriate adjustments or alternative arrangements. Clients, including individual students or group participants, are responsible for communicating the need to cancel or reschedule a confirmed tutoring session at least 24 hours in advance for cancellations and/or rescheduling requests. This advance notice is required to ensure that tutors have adequate time to prepare materials, adjust instructional plans, and, when necessary, reschedule or make other professional arrangements. In cases of extreme or unforeseen circumstances, such as sudden illness, medical emergencies, severe weather, or other unavoidable events that prevent timely communication, all parties are expected to notify one another as soon as reasonably possible. In such circumstances, TutoringEZ will work in good faith with both the tutor and the client to determine appropriate next steps, including rescheduling when feasible. This policy is intended to respect the professional time and preparation commitments of tutors while maintaining flexibility and responsiveness to clients’ needs. Clear, timely communication from all parties supports effective instruction, preserves instructional quality, and ensures a reliable and supportive tutoring experience. There is a $10 no-show fee associated with this tutoring session booking.
